The weir in The Torrs which will soon turn water into electricity.Back to Pets at home to buy an aquarium for Daisy which will have to sit full of water for a week before she can put fish in it - whatever happened to fairground fish in a plastic bag ?
No running today to let my calf recover.
I am being inundated by agencies and head hunters since I made myself properly available again - must be careful who I choose.
The Hydro Power project is going great guns and I will turn into a navvy for the day again later this week. http://torrs-hydro-new-mills.blogspot.com/
Great performance by Steve yesterday with a sub 3h:02m in the Windermere marathon - brilliant !

Hi Sean
You don't know me but I finished a minute or so behind your guy Steve at Windermere - if he was wondering why the Vale Royal supporters crew were shouting for Stockport every 15 minutes along the road that's the answer!
He must have had a really good run - that course is tough!
Cheers
Marcus
Hi Marcus - he's had two really good marathons - he went sub 2h:55m in London and then 3h:01m at Windermere - not bad for a V45.
I'll tell him you mentioned him.
You should get some of your team up for either the midweek Offerton 10k (all off road in a park) or the Stockport 10 mile race in December - great races (I should know as I help organise them)
Were you happy with your Windermere time ?
Sean
