Really busy day today - loads of gardening then off up to see if I can get to Big Stone quicker than ever before - I failed by three miserable seconds, but this time it was on my own rather than with Tony and I'm sure its harder to put the effort in on your own.
I've sussed out where I can gain a few seconds and it was quite breezy on Saturday so hopefully I will be able to reduce the 26:48 a bit next week - we will see.
Tom popped in for a coffee this morning - he's now working for the probation service and sounds like he is really enjoying it.
Went to watch County in the 2nd leg of the play offs at Edgeley Park with Tom, Paul and Michela - Amber was supposed to come but she had a 'teenage' moment at the last minute and didn't come - shame as it was an exciting game which County won and they will now meet local rivals Rochdale to see who gets promoted to Division one.
Me and Tom even did a pitch invasion - well more like a stroll - after the game finished.
