Last minute dashes for birthday presents and an impromptu 'party in the park' at High Leas Park in New Mills as the weather was lovely where everyone was nourished with Crispy Cod fish and chips, beer, wine and cakes and strawberry's.
Lads v Dads football match turned out the normal score with the Dads beating the Lads convincingly - when will they ever learn !
Once the sun went down hypothermia started to set in but fortunately we had brought blankets with us for the older folk (Cheryl !)
