Old newspapers are great - I found an old Manchester Evening News (1975) whilst decorating and some of the stuff in it is brilliant - especially the old adverts, charts and TV pages. At number 1 David Essex with 'Hold me close...' At number 6 Carl Malcolm with 'Fattie bum bum...' pure class. On TV we had Playschool, Magpie and the Old Grey Whistle Test and if you went shopping soup was 10p, butter 22p, coffee 37p and shredded wheat 20p !
Anyway enough of that - it was mile reps last night, still felt tired but managed to bang them out in 6:15 to 6:30 and then a short 6 miler this morning followed by gym session later.
