Talk about blowing the cobwebs away !
Near gale force winds on a hilly three lap course in the Northern 5km Championships - I didn't PB but was about 10s quicker then last year on the same course and finished 2nd MV40.
Its a great race with teh carnival parade before and cycle races afterwards.
Legs feel great still and the mile splits were pretty constant given the hills and the heart rate graph looks good.
Found two great pictures (above and below) from the Kinder Trogg of fellow runners lee and Brian - Brian has perfected the art of flying whilst lee is in some form of Kung Fu pose !
